our boring week

well i say boring, but really it was relaxing and easy going. amy and i made it though about 5 books.....each, we went to the movies, shrek 4 (? how many are there again?) for me, little miss, and mom, played in the hot lake water, went to the outlet mall, did some fishing, and lots of playing with little man. it was a great week for just hanging out and playing around, although it still felt like we were busy....pretty sure we ate zaxbys and chick-fil-a a few times too :) (those pictures will come later)







and then on thursday mom and i went to see james taylor and carol king. it was awesome! i had no idea that carol king had written so many songs that were made famous by other people. just not something you really think about that often...like natural woman, there were a few everly brothers songs, and the hits just kept on coming. it was cool because they sang or played on almost all of each others songs, there was no opening or closing act...it just flowed. and james taylor....man! not only is he so massivly tall, but his voice and singing were amazing. if you closed your eyes it was like sitting on your couch listening to it. and we had amazing seats! (thanks mom!!!) i would have had better pictures, but the stupid tickets said no cameras, so i left mine in the car.....so keep in mind, this was taken with my phone with no zoom....really we were only about 10 rows and a small gap from the stage, i could see them both clearly without having to look at the big screens they had everywhere. and the stage revolved, so you were able to see them from all different angles throughout the whole show.....i would def. talk josh into going back to the concert if they ever came to hawaii! and tomorrow its off to ky....its going to be along ride!
