stuff from class

so in class we jumped in quick and started making stuff the first week. so far we have made blue berry muffins, banana muffins, icebox cookies, oatmeal cranberry cookies, scones, crinkle cookies, blondies, brownies and flaky biscuits. pretty sure we have made a few more things, but there were only a few things i actually taken pictures of so far. :) and so far all of the things that i have made, have turned out really well, and all of my groups stuff has sold out when we get to buy our stuff in class :) these arent really the best pictures but since josh had my camera in american samoa and then because i forgot to bring it, these were take with my cell phone....

pink daisy flower earrings!

little miss had decided for a while that she "wants holes in her ears" but then she drops the subject for a while and we dont go get it done. well her bestest friend k recently got hers done and we started talking about it again. and she got really excited about it this time. so we decided that we would wait until josh got home so that we could all go together....and i was afraid that we i might cry :) i kept talking to her about the "guns" they use, and that it would make a loud noise, and it would hurt for a few minutes.

so we went and she got to pick out her earrings-the pink daisy flower ones :) which she thought was super cool. we made sure to bring penny puppy with us too so that she could help. she climbed right up on in the that chair and was so excited. they cleaned her ear, marked then, and then it was time. luckily they only do kids her age with both ears at the same time...other wise im pretty sure we would only have 1 earring. she did of course cry for the first few minutes, but once she she saw her pretty pink earrings she was all smiles again. still a few tears here and there, but she loved them! every time we passed a mirror she had to stop and check them out. she kept asking all day long if they were still in. and she was so excited to get to show them off to everyone :)

american samoa

so for the 2nd time josh "gets" to go to american samoa. the first time was last year after the tsunami, which was a crazy situation. this time was just to help out the office there while some people were on leave. luckily no tsunamis or anything this time. he was gone for almost 2 weeks and got to help out with some stuff was a great experience for him. we did miss him a lot, and we had a very busy time at home, and these are some of the pictures he took while he was there.
